This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Trinsfer uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It is a companion document to our Privacy Policy.

1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit it. Cookies allow the site to remember things like your login status, language preference and theme. We also use localStorage, which works similarly to cookies but is stored exclusively by your browser and never sent to our servers.
2. Cookies we set
Trinsfer uses only the following cookies, all in the "strictly necessary" category. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
TRINSFER_SID | Session cookie used to keep you signed in. | 30 days (sliding) |
trinsfer_lang | Stores your preferred interface language. | 1 year |
theme (localStorage) | Remembers light / dark mode preference. | Until cleared |
3. Third-party cookies
Some pages embed third-party JavaScript that may set cookies on their own:
- PayPal & NOWPayments — only when you initiate a checkout. These cookies are required to process the payment and are governed by the providers' privacy policies.
- Telegram Login Widget — only loaded on the Telegram-login page if you choose that provider.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel or any similar marketing trackers.
4. How to control cookies
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Note that disabling the TRINSFER_SID cookie will prevent you from staying signed in. To clear cookies, follow these guides: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
5. Changes
If we add or change cookies, we will update this page. Material changes are also announced in-product.
